We finally have the chance to end MAGA control of the House AND Senate.

Last Tuesday's YouGov/Economist poll showed that only 33% of Americans strongly or even somewhat approve of Donald Trump as president.1 It's the lowest approval rating for Trump in this poll. EVER. Meanwhile, Trump's disapproval rating was the highest ever, at 62%.2 University of Michigan's August Survey of Consumers reports that sentiment among Republicans is the lowest since the 2024 election.3 The Financial Times poll results released last weekend had the headline, "Most US voters say they are worse off under Trump."4 Support for Trump is shrinking, and Republicans are very worried about the midterms. Democrats already have a strong chance of taking back the House of Representatives. Now, Trump's weakness could cost Republicans more seats and further endanger the Senate.5 This is an incredible opportunity we can't afford to waste. Victory is possible but not guaranteed.
