Here’s where we’re at.

I have no cards left to play.

Unfortunately, our fundraising is lagging behind for the month, and we need to raise $100,000 from emails like this one today if we’re going to get back on track. If you’re able to chip in $5 or even just a couple bucks, it would be a huge help.

Look, I don’t say any of this to alarm you.

But since this is a grassroots campaign, you deserve full transparency. It’s important to me that my team and I keep you updated on where we’re at – good or bad.

The timing of all of this couldn’t be worse – with Donald Trump and Elon Musk lining up to support Republican Jon Husted in his effort to defeat me and GOP super PACs pouring $133 million into baseless attack ads smearing my name.

We simply cannot let National Republicans drown us out, but that’s what will happen if we don’t have the resources to compete.

So right now, I’m asking you to chip in a donation to help me close my $100,000 fundraising gap and keep up the fight to flip Ohio and the Senate. I’m working as hard as I can to win this race, but I can’t do it alone.
