Hi, it’s Carole King 🎶 and I personally wrote this email in support of Sherrod Brown.
Did you ever imagine that a one-man wrecking ball would use the power of the American presidency to empty the pockets of hardworking people while he and his family put BILLIONS of dollars in their pockets? Or that an American president would dismiss the suffering of children and families in the country he was elected to lead with statements like this?
“I don’t think about Americans’ financial situation.”
Ohio’s current U.S. Senator Jon Husted – who was appointed to replace JD Vance and was never elected – has a record of voting to comply with the president’s wishes.
As a Congressman and then a U.S. Senator from Ohio, Sherrod Brown’s north star has always been the Dignity of Work. His record shows him to be a consistent champion of working families.
Will you join me in supporting Senator Brown’s reelection to the U.S. Senate?
In this crucial midterm election, should Democrats retake the majority, their priorities will be to make gas, food, housing, healthcare, childcare, and other necessities more affordable, curb the corruption, affirm Congress' war powers, and stymie the swing of the wrecking ball.
Recently, several political forecasters moved Ohio from R to “Toss-up.” With so much at stake for so many Americans, a Democratic majority is within reach.

Had Senator Brown been in office on July 23rd, he would have voted for a War Powers Resolution that could have brought family members home sooner.
Senator Husted voted NO.
Independent and Republican voters in Ohio have been quietly telling Sherrod that they’re going to vote for him.
