Pamela,
We’ve made it through another Election Day! Yard signs have been taken down, sample ballots have been discarded…but there are still a few things left to do to make sure your vote counts.
First off—if you voted by mail, it’s always a good idea to track your ballot online to ensure that it has been received. Tracking your ballot is easy, just visit your county Supervisor of Elections website for more information.
Find your county Supervisor of Elections website to track the status of your mail-in ballot >>
There are also still a few important deadlines for this election. Tomorrow, August 20, is the final day to fix any issues with your mail-in ballot or provisional ballot, if that’s how you voted in this election. Sometimes, mail-in ballots and provisional ballots are initially rejected due to simple mistakes, like mismatched signatures. If your Supervisor of Elections contacted you to say there was a problem, or if you’ve noticed an issue in the ballot tracker, don’t panic! Follow their instructions and return the paperwork they’ve sent you to your county Supervisor of Elections office by 5:00pm on August 20.
Finally, we want to share our gratitude with you for voting in the Primary Election! This election is going to directly impact each and every one of us, so we thank you for participating in the process and ensuring that your voice has been heard.
We’ll be in touch for November!
Amy Keith, State Director
