Pamela, Today is National Patient Advocacy Day, a day to honor the patients, caregivers, and advocates who are driving the fight for lower prescription drug prices. The progress we’ve achieved at Patients For Affordable Drugs is thanks to patients all across the country who’ve been willing to share their stories, raise their voices, and urge lawmakers to pass key reforms and improve the system. To celebrate National Patient Advocacy Day, we're proud to share a new video following three Patients For Affordable Drugs patient advocates as they travel to Washington, D.C., to meet directly with members of Congress and their staff to advocate for reforms to lower drug prices for all Americans.
More than 40,000 people have shared their stories with us, helping turn personal experiences into tangible policy change.
Whether you've shared your story, sent a letter to Congress, attended an event, or simply stood with us in this fight, thank you. This community exists thanks to patients like you who continue to raise their voices and who understand that together we will win. Every patient story has the power to make a difference.
Thank you, Merith Basey
