Data centers are a menace

Pamela, Lately, it seems like our electrical, energy and water bills are much higher than normal. Well, there's a reason behind that, and it's these new AI data centers that are popping up across the country. And Big Tech is receiving tax breaks to build these data centers; your hard earned money paying for the rich to get richer and ultimately, local economies getting nothing. Your governor can do something about this. We've seen Governor Kate Hobbs in Arizona reverse her support for data center tax breaks. Tell your governor to demand no tax breaks for Big Tech Data centers today. No Tax Breaks for Big Tech → These data centers are ruining our land and water, jobs aren't coming to these areas and due to these tax breaks, our communities will lose out on billions of dollars in tax revenue. And as a result, our schools will be forced to cut programs, such as assistance for children with disabilities, firing teachers and making classrooms bigger. Our valuable money is going straight into the pockets of greedy corporations who don't need it. Rather than our tax funds going toward our schools, roads, infrastructure and local programs, it'll be subsidizing toxic data centers. There is still time to stop this!
