That’s what we heard during the longest State of the Union address in history.
Friend, Last night, Donald Trump stood before the country and rattled off lie after lie during the longest State of the Union address in history. Trump painted a delusional picture of the state of the country and refused to take any accountability for the chaos, corruption, and higher costs Americans are seeing from the White House. Americans across the country aren’t buying it. New polling shows his approval sinking to new lows, with 68% of Americans saying he’s focused on the wrong priorities. If we want that frustration to lead to real change, we have to take back the Senate. Chip in before our end-of-month deadline to help elect a Democratic majority that can stand up to Trump → If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation to Chuck Schumer will go through immediately: After a year of rising prices, chaotic leadership, attacks on health care, and federal immigration agents operating with little accountability, people are fed up. Poll after poll shows Americans believe the country is headed in the wrong direction and that this administration isn’t focused on the problems families face every day. But nothing changes as long as Senate Republicans keep protecting him. They’ve rubber-stamped his agenda, blocked oversight, and refused to hold anyone accountable, even as ordinary Americans struggle to keep up. Meanwhile, Trump’s political machine and billionaire backers are preparing to spend whatever it takes to keep control. They’re betting big money can drown out the voices of working people. Our grassroots supporters are the only thing standing in their way. Will you chip in before our end-of-month deadline to help Democrats take back the Senate and put power back in the hands of the American people? Sincerely, Team Schumer | This email was sent to .
