Team, it's Abigail Spanberger, Governor of Virginia. I delivered the Democratic response to Donald Trump's State of the Union address last night, and I wanted to reach out to you directly.

Americans expect and deserve leaders who are working hard to deliver for them. That is not what we saw last night. The state of the union under Donald Trump is failing American families.

We're lowering costs and delivering real relief for families, farmers, and business owners – not unleashing trade wars and hiking taxes. We're keeping our communities safe – not escalating violence and fear in our cities.
