| The New York Times: Pride Flag Is Removed From Stonewall Monument After Trump Directive. Folks, I'm at a loss for words. With this act, Donald Trump is erasing LGBTQ+ history. He thinks his attacks will intimidate and silence us. No way. Will you rush in $10 right now to elect a wave of Senate Democrats who will stand against Trump's hateful agenda? Stonewall is the birthplace of the modern LGBTQ+ movement. Removing the pride flag is hateful. It's an attempt to erase a community that has fought tirelessly for equal rights and visibility.
I won't stand for it.
Look, this isn't the first time Donald Trump has tried to erase American history, and it won't be the last. He's attacked Black history in schools, museums, and in national parks.
The fear and division of this administration cannot rewrite history, no matter how hard they might try.
We need a government that stands up for all Americans, not just the ones Donald Trump deems acceptable. We have a chance to flip the Senate this November and hold Trump accountable for his anti-LGBTQ+ agenda. So, please, will you chip in $10 or however much you can to help us defeat Donald Trump's dangerous policies and flip the Senate blue? New Yorkers deserve better than this. >> Together,
