They introduced the No Bailout for Sanctuary Cities Act, which would force cities and state governments across the US to participate in mass deportation actions or risk losing federal money. At risk are crucial programs that support education funding, food assistance, and even grants for crisis centers that take in survivors of domestic violence. Though immigrant communities are the direct targets of this assault, passing this bill would be disastrous for everyone, not just our undocumented neighbors.
