In the first public poll of the general election, Fox News showed us 8 points ahead of Republican Jon Husted. That’s me, 8 points ahead, in a state Trump won by 11 points last time. That’s a huge deal.

But here’s the problem: You can bet that National Republicans are panicking. GOP dark-money groups were already pouring $133 million into this race to defeat me, and now that they’re looking to save face – along with this crucial battleground seat – they’ll be flooding this race with even more.

I am their #1 target on the map this November because what happens here will decide Senate control.

Look – I don’t know what’s coming next, but I do know that the only way we can keep things going in our favor is by responding quickly in moments like this and fighting hard each and every day until the election.
