Investigate ICE's fatal shootings and hold agents accountable

DHS is trying to cover up both horrifying fatal shootings. Trump was outraged when DHS put a brief pause on ICE traffic stops, saying, "We CANNOT give up one of ICE’s most important and effective Crime Fighting tools." Trump's far-right immigration agents have shot and killed at least 11 people during his second term, including Alex Pretti and Renee Good. Araujo's son, members of Congress, and the people are calling for accountability and a full, independent investigation into these shootings. Lawmakers must end ICE impunity! Despite tens of billions of dollars in funding, ICE claims that no agents were wearing bodycams and no government footage is available from the incidents. Houston's District Attorney said he's ready to bring charges against ICE agents if wrongdoing is found during an investigation into the killing of Araujo. The disgraceful reality is that six months after ICE and CBP killed Renee Good and Alex Pretti, federal officials have continued blocking state and local investigators from fully reviewing these cases.
