Petition to Congress: We urge you to support bills to keep the president's signature off of U.S. currency and keep his name off of federal buildings, and to oppose legislation to put the president's face on currency and Mount Rushmore. We urge you to block the construction of the White House ballroom and other wasteful, self-serving Trump administration projects

Trump is using $400 million in taxpayer dollars to fund his gold-plated White House ballroom — after pledging he wouldn't use a dime of public funds for his vanity project.
His DOJ says no court can stop the White House ballroom, even as Trump rushes construction ahead to "outrun" pending legal cases that seek to block the renovation.
Trump and his loyalists are pursuing an endless stream of measures to glorify Trump and remake America in his strongman image, including efforts to "immortalize" him by putting his face on both a $250 bill and Mount Rushmore. Trump's moves to impress his MAGA stamp on the country are a direct threat to our democracy.
Sign the petition: Block Trump's White House ballroom, keep him off Mount Rushmore, and end his MAGA vanity projects!
Before Trump's Treasury pushed a new $250 bill with Trump's face on it, GOP lawmakers tried to replace Benjamin Franklin with Trump on the $100 bill. One MAGA member of Congress said, "President Trump is the most consequential President in modern American history" while trying to make his birthday a federal holiday.
Trump loyalists want to rename Dulles Airport and the D.C. metro after him. Trump himself tried to get his name on Penn Station in New York.
Trump cemented over the Rose Garden, put on a grotesque military parade for his birthday, illegally put his name on the Kennedy Center, and is trying to construct his own "triumphal" arch in D.C., despite overwhelming public opposition.
Congress must act now to stop Trump's dangerous, anti-democratic self-glorification.
Sign the petition: Investigate and halt Trump's wasteful, authoritarian projects.
