Pamela, it's Governor Jay Inslee.
Look, Donald Trump's efforts to slow down our clean energy progress aren't just reckless: They're costly and boneheaded.
That's why I'm teaming up with Climate Power to lead a new Accountability Project and inform the American public about the high costs of Trump's chaotic agenda in their lives and livelihoods.
It's pretty simple: Trump's approval rating is underwater -- and as Americans see higher utility bills and costs going up across the board, The Accountability Project will make sure they know he's to blame.
If you've stored your info with ActBlue Express, we'll process your contribution instantly:
Listen, Pamela, Democrats have an opportunity to aggressively communicate with Americans about how Trump's reckless policies are driving up their costs. From limiting our choices for cheaper American-made energy sources to trying to silence detractors, Trump's policies are hurting Americans from our wallets to the fundamentals of our democracy, and we're fighting back.
The Accountability Project will do this by reaching American voters and educating them through digital ads, targeted rapid response research, strategic communications, and organizing efforts in key states and districts nationwide.
I've spent my career championing the promise of a clean energy economy. This promise, however, won't happen without millions of Americans fighting for it. We all have the power to demand action, to be in the streets, to make contributions to groups doing the work. The only thing that would be wrong is to do nothing.
Standing up The Accountability Project means we can keep holding Trump's feet to the fire to push back against a president who would sell out our planet to the highest bidder. That's what we're up against. That's why I'm asking for your support today.
Thanks so much,

Jay Inslee
