What are you doing this weekend?

Happy Friday! Do you have any fun plans for the weekend?

I'm excited for some time at home with family. If it’s not too hot, maybe I'll take a long walk with Connie and our rescue dogs, Franklin and Walter. And I'm sure we'll turn on the Guardians game and (hopefully!) watch them beat the Rays.

It's those simple things that keep me going during a tough campaign like this one. That and my unwavering commitment to giving working folks in Ohio a fighter in the U.S. Senate.

But we can't get complacent for even a minute. Because the truth is, Ohio is a true battleground race, and a recent poll has me trailing Jon Husted by three points while GOP super PACs are spending $133 million to drown us out.

That's why, before you enjoy your weekend, I'm personally asking: Will you chip in $5 or more now to make sure I have the resources to fight back against the onslaught of GOP money and flip this must-win Senate seat?
