This is all I’m asking for

Hi, I want to start off by saying thank you.

We just closed the books on August, and this team stepped up in a big way ahead of our end-of-month fundraising deadline. Grassroots donors are powering this campaign, and I’m so grateful for all of the support.

But look, I’m going to be honest. I’ve been digging into our numbers with Lexie, my finance director, and we made a startling discovery: We’re not just trending behind for this point in the quarter – we’ve raised less than we did at this point in 2024.

In 2024, we set the record for being the most expensive U.S. Senate race in history, and this November, experts say we’re going to beat that. A whopping $749 million is expected to pour into this race – and if we’re going to win, we have to find a way to keep up.

I’m not asking you to compete with the million-dollar checks that Jon Husted is getting from his billionaire buddies and special interest donors. All I’m asking is if you can spare $5 or even just a few bucks to build back some of the momentum we’ve lost.

We need to raise $300,000 before midnight to get back on track. If everyone reading this email chips in, we can reach this goal – but I know not everyone will, so I’m turning to the folks who truly understand the stakes of this race. Folks like you.
