After a federal judge temporarily blocked Paramount's pro-Trump media mega-merger with Warner Brothers and CNN, Paramount redoubled its efforts to force through this MAGA monopoly nightmare.
Paramount is suing California, New York, and other states for nearly $2 billion in retaliation for the states' antitrust lawsuit. It's shameless corporate greed. An astroturf front group has also popped up plastering pro-Paramount ads across the internet and using AI to flood the CA Attorney General with pro-merger messages.
Paramount's CEO David Ellison held a special dinner honoring Trump and has promised the White House "sweeping changes" at CNN if Paramount's deal goes through. Democratic lawmakers are now calling on the Paramount CEO to answer for his ties to Trump.

Democratic lawmakers said Paramount turned CBS into a right-wing network for "fawning press coverage" of Trump and warned that Ellison will turn his growing news empire into Trump's "state media."
Rep. Jamie Raskin is demanding answers "in light of troubling reports that [Paramount] is colluding with President Trump and his Administration to curtail media independence, spread political censorship, and suppress dissent."
Paramount's leaders are close to Trump and have already turned CBS into pro-Trump propaganda. CNN and others are next if our lawmakers don't stop this deal.
