This is the worst setback my campaign has seen all year

Hi, we just had a major setback at the worst possible time.

Half of our Facebook ads went down this weekend, which means most grassroots supporters weren’t able to make contributions on that platform for 48 hours. We still don’t know why this happened, but we do know most of our ads are still dark – and we don’t have any time to waste.

This couldn’t have come at a worse time. Crypto and data center billionaires are launching a $30 million ad blitz, Donald Trump just poured in another $5 million on Friday night, and we’re chasing down our biggest public reporting deadline of the election on Wednesday.

We needed to raise $75,000 from these online ads over the weekend, and now we’re WAY behind. We might not even be able to afford our next set of TV ads or voter outreach.

Can I count on you to chip in $5 or more to make up for this lost ground? We cannot afford to waste another second with Senate control on the line.

Thanks to the dark-money groups and billionaires like Peter Thiel and Elon Musk, Republicans are outspending us by as much as 7:1 every single day.

And there’s no way to sugarcoat it: If we keep getting drowned out, we will lose this race and our path to Senate control. Experts are saying Ohio could be the seat that secures Democrats a majority in the Senate, and The Washington Post just said we are the #2 state most likely to flip blue.

We’re counting on ads like these on Facebook to meet our fundraising goals, but we just lost a TON of money due to this technical glitch.
