Polling results showing Sherrod at 47% and Husted at 50%

Hi there, this isn’t good: A brand-new New York Times/Siena poll shows me down 3 points to Jon Husted in Ohio's must-win Senate race.

Ohio is the most competitive and most important battleground race of the midterm elections, and at this moment, we’re losing ground. Will you chip in $5 or more right now to help us close this polling gap, flip this seat, and take back the Senate majority?

The momentum was on our side, especially after multiple election experts shifted the race further in our direction, officially re-ranking it as a “Toss Up.”

But with the GOP now committing over $130 MILLION to defeat me and boost Husted, anything can happen in this race – and this new poll is a clear sign of that.

Unlike Husted, who’s relying on shady dark-money groups to win, I’m depending on everyday folks pitching in $5 or $25 when they can. And frankly, that’s what this race is all about.

Will we let big corporate interests and wealthy donors buy political power, or will we come together and give Ohioans and working people their voice back in the Senate?
