“Control of the Senate Is Up for Grabs, Times/Siena Polls Find”
We want to show you something that just came out, friend.
The New York Times and Siena College polled battleground Senate states, and the average result is a dead tie: 47% to 47%. Take a look at some of the margins:
Texas – 🔴 Ken Paxton: 47% 🔵 James Talarico: 47%
Alaska – 🔴 Dan Sullivan: 47% 🔵 Mary Peltola: 45%
Iowa – 🔴 Ashley Hinson: 48% 🔵 Josh Turek: 46%
Ohio – 🔴 Jon Husted: 50% 🔵 Sherrod Brown: 47%
Every single donation in races this close could be what makes the difference. Can you chip in today to help us win back the Senate?
Think about what this means. In states Trump won by an average of eight points two years ago, we've fought all the way back to even. That's the momentum. That's what your support built.
But even means exactly that: even. We're not ahead. Republicans still hold the majority, and if these races broke their way tonight, they'd keep it.
Here's the thing about races this close: They aren't won by big moments. They're won at the margins — the extra door knocked, the extra ad in the final week, the extra volunteer with a phone. In a race decided by a point or two, your donation isn't a drop in the bucket. It's the margin.
That's not a talking point. It's math. A tied race is decided by whoever does the most in the final stretch. Let that be us.
Can you chip in today to take back the Senate?
Thank you,
Team Schumer
