Petition to Congress: We urge you to support bills to keep the president's signature off of U.S. currency and keep his name off of federal buildings, and to oppose legislation to put the president's face on currency. We urge you to block the construction of the White House ballroom and other wasteful, self-serving Trump administration projects.

We urge you to support bills to keep the president's signature off of U.S. currency and keep his name off of federal buildings, and to oppose legislation to put the president's face on currency. We urge you to block the construction of the White House ballroom and other wasteful, self-serving Trump administration projects.
Trump claimed that he wouldn't spend any taxpayer money on his grotesque gold-plated ballroom. A damning report in the Washington Post revealed that Trump's already allocated $400 MILLION in tax dollars to the ballroom.
"Donald Trump is secretly spending taxpayer dollars on a vanity project for himself and his billionaire friends," said Rep. Brendan Boyle while calling for an investigation into the spending. Democrats are also calling for a probe into the 800% over-budget wasteful spending on Trump's failed reflecting pool beautification.
Trump and his loyalists are pursuing an endless stream of measures to glorify Trump and remake America in his strongman image, including legislation to put his face on a $250 bill. Trump's moves to impress his MAGA stamp on the country are a direct threat to our democracy!
Sign the petition: Block Trump's authoritarian glorification projects. Stop WH ballroom construction, reflecting pool waste, and legislation to put Trump on money!
After destroying the East Wing of the White House and cementing over the Rose Garden, Trump is trying to "outrun" pending court cases to stop construction of the ballroom by "building fast."
A judge forced the Trump administration to reverse the illegal Kennedy Center name change after a ridiculous months-long saga. But Trump's MAGA sycophants are still plastering his name and face all over the place — including on U.S. passports and a banner draped over the Department of Justice — and his allies in Congress have proposed putting him on Mount Rushmore.
Congress must act now to stop Trump's dangerous, anti-democratic self-glorification.
Sign the petition: Stop the WH ballroom and don't let Trump slap himself on money, landmarks, and federal buildings!
