a fragile ceasefire and an unclear future

Violence could resume at any moment. We cannot let that happen. ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏  ‌͏

Pamela, when the U.S., Israeli, and Iranian governments announced a ceasefire earlier this week, the entire world was able to exhale.

That relief was short-lived. Within hours, Israeli military strikes on Lebanon hit 100-plus targets in 10 deadly minutes, hundreds of people were killed. Now, even as the Trump administration works to rush hundreds of millions of dollars in bombs and bulldozers to PM Netanyahu, the terms of the ceasefire remain dangerously unclear.

Violence could resume at any moment. We cannot let that happen.

Right now, there's a critical opening, and Win Without War is moving fast to seize it. The widespread public outrage over Trump’s failed, unauthorized war and genocidal threats has created real pressure in Congress to pass a resolution that stops it and rejects funding for this war. Just one in four Americans supports it, and that anti-war majority is powerful if we organize it. Will you help us do just that?

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

Hawks like Senator Lindsey Graham are already working to undermine the ceasefire and resume U.S. strikes. Others are openly calling on Trump to “finish the job.” What happens in the next few days will determine whether this pause becomes peace — or collapse.

Congress’ failure to rein Trump in so far has only emboldened him.

It’s time for a change.

Our goal now is simple: Make sure every member of Congress hears an unequivocal message from the anti-war majority to use their constitutional authority to extend the ceasefire, end the war, and save lives.

It requires building and strengthening a powerful, anti-war coalition in Congress, mobilizing activists like you across the country, and running bold, visible ad campaigns that make the anti-war majority impossible to ignore.

Any one of these efforts would be a full-time focus. We're doing all of them — fast. We need your support to keep it all going.

Thank you for working for peace,
The Win Without War team
