Pamela: Shocking reporting suggests Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth tried to invest MILLIONS in weapons stocks during the buildup to the war with Iran.[1] If true, it means the Defense Secretary attempted to personally profit off an illegal, horrific war that has killed thousands, including hundreds of children.
This is more than just disturbing; it’s outright disqualifying. And these reckless, dangerous actions are merely the tip of the iceberg.
The longer Hegseth stays, the longer the list of his offenses: Purging Black and women officers at the Pentagon, failing to keep critical information secure, calling for U.S. troops to commit potential war crimes, and ordering multiple instances of unauthorized use of force from Iran to the Pacific.
Fortunately, Rep. Yassamin Ansari just introduced seven articles of impeachment against Hegseth, providing us a path to push him out and clear the way for new leadership at the Pentagon.
We’ve just seen how public pressure can drive accountability, with Pam Bondi and Kristi Noem recently forced from their posts. Now, ahead of his FIRST public hearings since the start of the disastrous Iran war, let’s ramp up the pressure to make sure SecDef Hegseth is next.
Tell your lawmakers to pass articles of impeachment to remove Pete Hegseth!

Pamela, Hegseth’s ethos of “maximum lethality” isn’t just an empty phrase; it’s an explicit promise. In rooting out critical oversight that was at odds with this ‘mission’ last year, he slashed staff dedicated to protecting civilians, leaving just ONE person at Central Command, which oversees the entire Middle East. Less than a year later? A U.S. strike would kill 168 elementary school students in Minab, Iran.
He’s also pledged, “No quarter, no mercy for our enemies.” For a commander to even say those words flies in the face of the laws of armed conflict. They are orders that, if followed through, would amount to war crimes — while also jeopardizing the safety of U.S. servicemembers should foreign governments reciprocate.
Any ONE of these reckless, dangerous actions should put a Defense Secretary’s job on the line. Combined — and in addition to scandals over sharing sensitive war plans, purging legal officers from the military that were “roadblocks” to his war-fighting goals, and conducting illegal strikes in Iran, Yemen, in the Caribbean, and beyond — they are nothing short of disqualifying.
We knew Hegseth was unfit to serve during his nomination process, and this disturbing pattern of corruption, discrimination, and reckless violence only proves us horribly correct. As the allegations and harm pile up, we need to demand immediate action and rally support around Rep. Ansari’s articles of impeachment. Now.
It starts with a simple message today: Impeach Hegseth!
Thank you for working for peace,
