I’m feeling pretty energized today, so I thought there was no better time to introduce you to two very important members of my team: our rescue dogs, Franklin and Walter.

Franklin is named after President Franklin D. Roosevelt.

Walter is named after former United Auto Workers President Walter Reuther.

Like their namesakes, who fought tirelessly for the Dignity of Work, Franklin and Walter are hardworking, principled, and give their all to whatever they set their minds to. That includes helping me win this race.

They know this race will go down to the wire – it’s an all-paws-on-deck effort, if you will – so they’re here to kindly ask for your support (they were trained not to beg).
