It has never been more essential, to ensure New Mexico has a Democratic governor. Even in the last few days, Trump has reiterated how much power, not people, is his priority. He’s willing to continue an illegal war at the expense of your Medicare, Medicaid, and childcare. And now he’s trying to use the Supreme Court to do his dirty work, pushing to rewrite our Constitution and even casting doubt on whether Native Americans are birthright citizens.
They know if I’m in office, I’ll stop them. That’s exactly why they’re coming after me now.
This attack ad comes on top of reports saying that our race in New Mexico is one of the best pickup opportunities for Republicans. They're gearing up to spend MILLIONS to buy this seat and bring their extremist agenda into our state — all because they know governors are the last line of defense when the federal government abuses its power.
And now, they've launched a massive smear campaign on the airwaves because it's the only way they think they can win. But with our rights, freedoms, and communities on the line, I refuse to back down without a fight.
