We need a permanent ceasefire

Trump’s war with Iran has been the most unpopular conflict in modern history: 60% of the American people are opposed to it. And That’s just one of the myriad of reasons why we can’t get dragged back into the war with Iran. Not only is it a bad idea to continue, it was a bad idea to start. Congress must listen to us, the will of the people. Demand your members of Congress to support a permanent ceasefire and end Trump’s illegal war in Iran once and for all. Just mere hours before the fragile ceasefire with Iran was agreed upon; Trump posted this on social media: "A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again." Pamela - even as a threat, it's a war crime, plain and simple. The Iranian people aren’t the only ones suffering during this war; everyday Americans are suffering. Americans have been sent to Iran and died; our hard-earned tax dollars are paying for the bombs that are killing innocent civilians, and we’re the ones spending more on gas and food because of this crisis. The majority of Americans agree: This war must stop. Now, it’s time to band together as a majority and demand that Congress supports a permanent ceasefire in Iran immediately.
