| Friend, humanitarian aid cuts have made it harder for children to access education, safe shelter, food and clean water – stripping the few lifelines that kept many families afloat. Despite these challenges, Save the Children has continued to provide lifesaving emergency relief and long-term support to ensure children survive and thrive – thanks to our generous donor community. During these uncertain times, one of the best ways you can support children in crisis is by joining our monthly giving community, Team Tomorrow. Consistent, monthly gifts provide ongoing, reliable support that ensures we can respond to emergencies at a moment's notice – and stay as long as children need our help. Will you start a monthly gift today to help us put children first amid crises, poverty and unexpected humanitarian aid cuts? |
Monthly gifts make a powerful difference in the lives of children like Marva*, whose community in Indonesia lacked access to safe water. |
| Marva, 9, washing her hands at a tap installed by Save the Children |
Instead of reading books and doing schoolwork, Marva had to find water for her family. She regularly walked more than a mile — across rocky roads and steep hills — to fetch clean water. With support from our monthly donors, Save the Children installed a water tap closer to Marva’s home. Now, Marva and her classmates can wash their hands, neighbors can clean their vegetables and farmers can water their crops. Friend, I know you believe children like Marva are the future, and we must provide all the tools they need to survive and thrive. Unfortunately, when global humanitarian aid is cut, basic essentials like food and water become scarce – and children’s health and futures are threatened. Become a monthly donor to help us meet the immediate and ongoing needs of children in the U.S. and around the world. Will you join this incredible community of passionate supporters to create a better tomorrow for children everywhere? |
With appreciation, Janti Soeripto |
