After closing out 2025 by bringing care packages, holiday celebrations and entertainment to troops around the world, we're busy preparing for 2026 and making plans to reach more service members than ever. Keep reading to learn more about the impact you make for service members through your ongoing support of the USO's mission.     USO FRONT LINES     Creating a home away from home over the holidays This holiday season, USO teams worldwide helped service members feel connected while deployed. At Al Dhafra Air Base in Abu Dhabi, service members received holiday gift packs and decorated a Christmas tree. At USO Sigonella, a festive holiday meal and cookie decorating gave troops the chance to share the Christmas spirit.     USO Canine Volunteers boost morale over the holidays The USO brought holiday cheer to service members deployed to the Baltics, offering a welcome break from frigid conditions with holiday care packs, gingerbread cookie decorating and a visit from USO Canine Volunteer Buddy.     The USO opens new location in Singapore The new USO location in Singapore will provide service members serving abroad a comforting place to relax and stay connected to home, strengthening the military community in the Indo-Pacific region.     GLOBAL ENTERTAINMENT     Carla Hall spreads holiday cheer to service members in Germany Chef Carla Hall hosted a virtual baking lesson with service members at Grafenwoehr and Spangdahlem Air Bases in Germany during USO Cookie Week. The interactive experience allowed service members at USO Centers to cook in real time with Carla, creating a shared moment of holiday joy.     EVENTS     Far from home, never alone As the sun rose over Guam last month, 273 service members from the 11th Air Task Force came together for a morale run. Waiting at the finish line, staff from USO Andersen handed out holiday bags, bringing gratitude and connection to those serving far from home.         Join the USO Home Team with a monthly gift today!
