The EPIC Act would delay Medicare from negotiating lower prices on the most widely used type of drugs: small-molecule medicines that millions of Americans rely on. If this bill had been law already, 13 of the first 25 drugs would have been excluded from negotiation and lower prices, keeping patients paying more for years. Bottom line: This bill is just another massive giveaway to drug companies — one that would cost patients and taxpayers billions. Last year, Big Pharma's lobbyists flooded the halls of Congress, ensuring that lawmakers heard from the industry every day. That's why they need to hear from you, too.
