Trump's unaccountable federal agents are: Pushing to enter our homes without warrants – a direct attack on our constitutional rights [1] Abducting children and reportedly using them as "bait" to lure parents into arrests [2] Escalating racial profiling and violence – targeting protesters, civilians, and anyone this administration decides doesn't belong [3] Voters across the country are fed up with this lawlessness. Poll after poll shows strong opposition to ICE's actions. [4] But yesterday, seven House Democrats joined nearly every Republican to ignore the American people and pass $10 billion in funding for ICE to terrorize our neighborhoods. [5] Now the Senate has a choice. They can draw a line, hold this administration accountable, and refuse to fund these abuses – or they can be complicit.   Pamela, don't believe any lawmaker who says their hands are tied. That's simply not compatible with a healthy democracy. And when our members of Congress – whose job is to act as a check on the president – keep funding these abuses, they give Trump and his cronies the green light to escalate even further. Our elected officials need to hear this clearly: voters are paying attention to how they vote, not what they say on TV or social media. We don't need more fundraising emails or attempts at viral posts from elected officials just telling us this is a problem. We know it's bad – and now we need them to actually DO something about it.
