Susan Collins

Susan Collins has provided decisive votes for the Trump administration’s biggest priorities―from Justice Brett Kavanaugh to Trump’s Tax Cuts―despite publicly distancing herself from the administration.

Pamela, Susan Collins has provided decisive votes for the Trump administration’s biggest priorities―from Justice Brett Kavanaugh to Trump’s Tax Cuts―despite publicly distancing herself from the administration. Now we may know why: ProPublica revealed that the White House intervened to shut down an FBI investigation into hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of illegal donations to Susan Collins’s 2020 re-election campaign, which may have resulted in tens of millions of taxpayer dollars to Pentagon contractors. We need this investigation re-opened―whether by the FBI, the Senate Ethics Committee, or any other investigative body. If Susan Collins is using her position on the Senate Appropriations Committee to direct taxpayer dollars to her weapons contractor donors, we deserve to know!
