I need to be direct

Our campaign just had a major setback.

We needed to have a big fundraising week to reach our $2 million end-of-month goal and afford our next set of TV ads. But instead, donations have taken a nosedive.

So I’m personally asking, will you rush $5 or more to make up lost ground? We can’t waste another second.

DONATE

Republicans are massively outspending our campaign – and their top super PAC has dedicated more resources to Ohio than any other state in the country. Let that sink in.

The GOP knows Ohio is key to the Senate. They’ve gone so far as to beg big corporations to come in and help Jon Husted. Millions more will be spent to buy this seat before Election Day.

If they successfully drown us out, we will lose this race.

We’re counting on meeting every single one of our fundraising goals from now until November to keep our ads on the air and respond to Republican attacks, but we’re staring down a serious budget gap that we have to close ASAP.

The good news is that by the time you’re reading this email, thousands of people who care just as much as you do will have chipped in $5 or even $10 to support this movement we’re building.

So if you want to take a concrete step today that will immediately increase our chances of taking back the Senate majority in November and flipping Ohio, please chip in $5 or whatever you can before midnight. It means a lot.

If you've saved payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

When you love your country, you fight for the people who make it work.

Hey there! It's Sherrod Brown.

There's nobody fighting for Ohioans in the U.S. Senate right now, and I won't sit on the sidelines while working people get screwed over by large corporations and wealthy political donors.

If you work hard, you should be able to afford a decent life. But the reality is, life is too expensive. Costs are going up. Wages are staying stagnant. Working people are working harder than ever before, and they're not getting their share of the profit.

This campaign is all about changing that – and election analysts say we have a strong shot at winning in November.

But I'll need your help to pull it off: My opponent is a Washington insider being propped up by the Republican establishment, and he's got virtually unlimited resources.

That's not how our campaign works. We're a grassroots movement, and that means we rely on ordinary people chipping in a couple bucks. If you're able, please make a donation of any amount today. It could be what helps us flip Ohio and the Senate.

Thank you.
