Block Trump's corporate destruction of America's national parks and forests!

We urge you to protect parks funding, restore staffing levels so that parks are no longer understaffed, and stop the administration's move to centralize control over national parks, which would weaken the Park Service's ability to serve the public. He's diverting funds for national parks to his grotesque D.C. construction projects. And his administration is pushing forward a plan to roll back federal protections for national forests that surround Yellowstone, Grand Teton, and many other cherished parks. Trump is dismantling America's national parks, just like he's dismantled critical parts of our government, cultural institutions, and democracy. New reporting also showed that the White House wouldn't reject the idea of Major League Baseball building a ballpark in Grand Teton — another potential incursion into America's protected parks. "It is irreplaceable. There is no other Grand Teton," said one conservation group. "So the idea that we would put a baseball stadium in Grand Teton National Park is just — what would the word be? — ludicrous. Crazy. Ridiculous. I mean, I just can’t fathom." Trump took $323 million from the U.S. Parks Service to fund his authoritarian White House vanity projects, and spent another $100 million on remodeling the National Mall in D.C. The funding his administration has blocked includes nearly $2 million for projects at Grand Teton. He's also gutted staffing that kept our cherished national parks running and has plans to seize control of parks. Congress must act to stop Trump's repeal of federal protections for 45 acres of national forests, including lands surrounding Yellowstone, Grand Teton, Yosemite, and other national parks, and the White House's assault on our parks.
