Pamela, The Trump administration declared war on immigrant families. And now his Treasury Department is considering a rule that would exclude otherwise-eligible families from the refundable portions of the Earned Income Tax Credit, Child Tax Credit, American Opportunity Tax Credit, and Adoption Tax Credit based on immigration status. This has nothing to do with lawful immigration―and everything to do with making our country inhospitable to people who weren’t born here. We have the chance to stop this!
