Pamela – every April 15, we pay our fair share to support the country we all depend on.
But it’s rules for thee, not for me for the wealthiest people in America. Rather than paying their fair share of taxes, they’ve created special loopholes, carve-outs, and tax breaks that allow them to avoid paying what they owe.
And for what, another yacht?
Teachers, nurses, construction workers, small business owners, and families pay taxes out of every hard-earned paycheck. That money goes toward schools, roads, hospitals, and more that help everyone live their lives.
Families are struggling while the rich are getting richer.
As much as they’re trying to fool you, Congress isn’t helpless and can actually do something about this.
We’re urging Congress to implement policies that raise at least $10 trillion over the next decade by making the ultra-wealthy and big corporations finally pay their fair share in taxes.
We believe that everyone needs to contribute their fair share to build a stronger country. Demand that Congress taxes the rich their fair share to make life more affordable and equitable for everyone.
In solidarity,
Mike Phelan
