Trump wants to end non-profits

Donald Trump and his fascist cronies are on a mission to shut down non-profits and other organizations he doesn't agree with. First: Early in his presidency, Trump issued an executive order banning federal agencies from implementing DEI initiatives meant to address generational inequities in our society. Then: This newly proposed rule takes this initiative even further, opening up non-profits and other entities to legal harassment by the federal government. Now: Trump seeks to criminalize any assistance to immigrants and label groups that oppose his agenda as domestic terrorists. This is bringing us one step closer to a dictatorship, Pamela. This has a chilling effect on hundreds of organizations doing critical work, just like the ACLU and Planned Parenthood. Right now, there's an official federal comment period open through Monday, March 30th and we can – and should – use our voices to show that tens of thousands of people don't agree with this new dangerous and chilling policy.
