What are you up to next Tuesday evening, Pamela?
We hope you can join the next installment in our exclusive series of virtual conversations:

Janai Nelson and Madiba Dennie will lead an important discussion on SCOTUS rulings, their effects on our elections, and their implications for our democracy. With the Voting Rights Act under ongoing attack in front of SCOTUS, and with the justices weighing new restrictions on mail voting for the 2026 midterms, it’s a critical moment to take stock of where we are — and where we must go next. Events like these are part of how we fulfill “Step Two: Stay Informed” of our co-founder Stacey Abrams’s “10 Steps to Freedom and Power.” Here’s how she explains its importance in our work to stop autocracy: “We’re all seeing the same flood of misleading headlines, right-wing memes, hot takes, and breaking news alerts....Staying informed means slowing down enough to understand what’s actually happening. We have to be clear about what we just learned: What changed? Who does this affect? What happens next? And then we need to share what we know when it matters most. “When we share the truth, information becomes a tool that makes a difference.” Anti-democracy forces want us to be so overwhelmed with incoming news that we don’t know how to fight back. But they’re out of luck. Next Tuesday, our expert guests will drop knowledge that helps us build power — we hope you can make it. RSVP here, and you’ll have a chance to help shape this timely conversation by submitting questions for Janai Nelson and Madiba Dennie. In solidarity, The Fair Fight Team
