I want to get right to the point…

Hey Team, it’s attorney Marc Elias.

I’ll get right to the point: I’m suing Donald Trump.

Together with the DCCC as well as Leaders Jeffries and Schumer, my lawsuit aims to block Donald Trump’s latest executive order targeting the freedom to vote.

I’m about to explain why this lawsuit is one of the most important voting rights lawsuits of Trump’s second term, but first, I need to ask you to chip in $3 to the DCCC right now. A contribution from you today will go a long way towards the fight for our democracy and reclaiming the House majority. A Democratic House will serve as a firewall defense against Trump’s efforts to eviscerate the right to vote. Can I count on you to chip in before midnight?

Trump’s latest power grab threatens the very foundation of our democracy by attacking free, fair, and secure elections.

Last week, he signed a sweeping executive order targeting mail-in voting and escalated his long-running effort to restrict voting access ahead of the 2026 midterm elections. This order is his most aggressive federal action yet in his campaign against mail-in voting.

Republicans are prepared to dismantle decades of settled election law because they know the only way they will win in November is by rigging the system.

I’ve fought and beaten Donald Trump in court more times than I can count, but this latest power grab is among his most obscene moves yet. He wants to:

– GATHER SENSITIVE INFORMATION from voters to create a list of those he deems eligible to vote.
– FORCE the Postal Service to only mail ballots he deems eligible.
– COMPLETELY TAKE OVER voting to give himself more control.

We won’t back down in this fight for our democracy. Not now. Not ever.

Democrats are fighting Trump and the GOP’s voter suppression efforts in the courts and in Congress, but we need your help to take back the House and stop Republicans from completely dismantling our democracy.
