Dear MoveOn member,
While ICE agents continue to terrorize communities across the country, AT&T is collecting a check.
AT&T currently holds a $90.8 million contract with the Department of Homeland Security, giving ICE and Border Patrol access to high-speed networks, priority communication services, and the ability to tap into AT&T customer data for their surveillance operations.1 AT&T isn’t just a passive vendor—they’ve expanded their DHS contract under the Trump administration, choosing to deepen their ties with an agency that continues to show complete disregard for civil rights and human life.
Send a letter to AT&T executives demanding they stop powering and profiting from ICE’s violence!
ICE’s record of harm is undeniable. They’ve detained more than 6,200 children since January 2025.2 They arrested a U.S. soldier’s wife at a military base.3 They deported a 4-year-old U.S. citizen with stage 4 kidney cancer without his medication.4 And since Trump took office, nearly 50 people have died in ICE custody—the deadliest period in over two decades.5
AT&T isn’t just watching this happen. They’re enabling it and profiting from it.
The time to be loud about this is right now. AT&T’s contract with DHS is set to expire this September, but it could be extended through 2032 for an additional $74.4 million.6
AT&T pulls in $120 billion in revenue each year, most of which comes from their more than 100 million customers. They do not need ICE’s money. What they need is to hear from us. We need to make it crystal clear to AT&T and every other corporation profiting off ICE’s abuse that consumers are watching and there will be a cost for their complicity.
Tell AT&T to cut ties with ICE! Send your letter now.
Thanks for all you do.
