That’s the unavoidable conclusion if you’ve been watching the Department of Justice under Trump 2.0 – an agency meant to serve the public twisted into a tool for one man’s personal agenda. Under Pam Bondi's failed leadership, the DOJ acted like Trump’s personal law firm – pressuring states for your private voter data, letting Trump’s allies get away with crimes, and reportedly even sending government lawyers to lie in federal court dozens of times! [2] You and I are paying the price for that: we’re less safe, less free, and totally unable to count on our federal government to work for us these days. Now, Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche is auditioning for the job by pushing Trump’s $1.8 billion Jan. 6 slush fund scheme. None of his likely competitors – like Harmeet Dhillon, Ed Martin, and Jeanine Pirro – look any better. These are people who owe their careers to putting Trump first, and the law last – which is why they’ve all already failed our Public Interest Test.
