Israel is unleashing its genocidal "Gaza playbook" in Lebanon.
The Israeli military is demolishing homes and razing entire villages, and is currently occupying large areas of southern Lebanon. Israel has dropped bombs on Beirut, and killed nearly 3,000 people and displaced 1.2 million since early March. Despite a so-called "ceasefire" agreement, Israeli strikes continue daily. "The fate of southern Lebanon will be the same as that of Gaza," said the Israeli defense minister.
Rep. Rashida Tlaib will force a vote in the House to block U.S. support for Israel's relentless attacks on Lebanon. Our lawmakers must stop providing Israel funding and weapons support for this killing and destruction.

"We are witnessing the same genocidal playbook used against Palestinians in Gaza, now in Lebanon," said Rep. Tlaib when she introduced the war powers resolution.
Senators including Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren recently wrote to the Trump administration demanding answers about the potential involvement of U.S. forces in Israeli "evacuation zones" in Lebanon, Gaza, and Iran. The Senators made it clear that these so-called evacuation orders are likely illegal under international law.
Meanwhile, Trump is trying to ram through another $1 billion shipment of precision kill rockets to Israel.
Congress must finally take a stand and end U.S. support for Israel's onslaught.
