ICE is sending armed agents to airports across the country – and now, Trump’s allies are calling it a "test-run” to deploy ICE to the polls this year. [1] It’s amazing I even have to say this, but armed federal agents have no place in our elections. But Trump’s new DHS head, Markwayne Mullin, is refusing to rule it out [2] even though it’s illegal to send federal law enforcement to any polling place. [3] This is just another step in Trump’s plot to “guarantee” the midterms – not by persuading voters, but by silencing us. And that's not all...He's already strong-arming Congress to pass his anti-voter bill that could silence millions of Americans Ramped up his attacks against mail-in voting with an illegal executive order Common Cause is suing to overturn And voiced his plans to “nationalize the elections” – seizing control from trusted local officials to serve his agenda [4] It’s clear to us that Trump’s really afraid of voters.
