SIGN NOW: Trump wants to cut your healthcare AGAIN – this time for his illegal Iran war. Tell Congress to reject his $1.5 trillion “war first, people last” budget >>
Pamela, Trump said: “It’s not possible for us to take care of day care, Medicaid, Medicare, all these individual things... We have to take care of one thing: military protection.” [1]
And his proposed budget backs that up: he’s asking Congress to slash $83 billion from your healthcare, education, and clean energy [2] while pouring $1.5 trillion into the military to fuel his illegal Iran war. [3]
There’s always money for war. But when it comes to people’s actual priorities, like lowering costs, good schools, or healthcare? Trump says it’s “not possible.”
We need to make it clear to our members of Congress: Trump’s extreme budget must be dead on arrival. Every dollar funneled into this war is a dollar ripped out of your hands – but only if our lawmakers allow it.
Sign the Petition: Not one more taxpayer dollar for Trump’s war of choice. Congress must reject Trump’s $1.5 trillion war budget and put working people first >>
Pamela, if you want to know what someone’s values really are, look at their actions, not their words. Trump’s priorities couldn’t be clearer.
His budget reads like one of his social media rants – obsessing over the word “woke” (he uses it 34 times) while failing to address the hardships working people are actually facing at the grocery store and gas pump. [4]
So listen, if you think the biggest problems in this country right now are that we’re not spending enough on wars, plus whatever Trump’s latest culture war grievances are, then this is a great budget. But if you want to demand more from your government, read on.
It’s not hard to see what’s really happening here. Heading into the 2026 midterms, Trump knows working families aren’t buying his sales pitch. His economy is failing them, and voters are demanding answers on government corruption, ICE violence, and skyrocketing costs.
And he knows the more he fearmongers about security threats, the easier it is to avoid addressing these issues – and to claim we “can’t afford” healthcare and other essentials because he needs that money for his illegal war.
Add your name to urge Congress to draw a hard line: reject Trump’s war-first budget, protect our communities, and put the American people first.
Thanks for all you do,
