This Military Appreciation Month, we're recognizing the generations of service members who have stepped forward to serve our nation for 250 years — and the people who carry on that legacy today.
Jeff is one of them.
Jeff serves in the U.S. Coast Guard, a branch many people don't realize deploys overseas. Over the course of his career, his service has taken him to Indonesia, South America, Ghana, Iceland and Germany.
Military life is a family commitment for Jeff. His wife Sarah also serves in the Coast Guard. It hasn't always been easy. Their household has been shaped by changing duty stations, deployments and time apart.
That's what modern service looks like — and it's why showing support for our service members matters so much.
