I'm being attacked by the right and Trump's MAGA allies nonstop.
After our ad went live, Fox News picked it up on talk show after talk show. The far right came after me on social media. And an RNC spokeswoman went on the record to call me a "radical who would rather let criminals run rampant than make Chicago safer."
These attacks aren't meaningless. They're a coordinated effort to smear me and silence our movement — and to prop up my MAGA donor-backed opponent at the same time.
Let me be clear: I'm not intimidated or scared. But I am realistic.
When they attack us for speaking plainly about how Illinoisans feel, we have to respond with strength and by amplifying the truth.
