Dear MoveOn member,
Yesterday, Trump and Senate Republicans caved to our grassroots pressure and provided funding for TSA (Transportation Security Administration) without providing any additional funding for ICE and border patrol.1 This is a huge win and it shows us one thing: That people power works. Trump bullied Congress and caused chaos at airports across the country all at our expense. This was never about the lack of resources; this was about Trump using this chaos to get his way and force more funding for ICE.
But because of our grassroots power, Senate Democrats refused to give in, and Trump was forced to use reconciliation funds to pay TSA, proving that he didn't need even more money for ICE's violence from Congress.
We can't let Trump silence us and take away our power. We have to show up and demand that the government work for us, not the rich and powerful.
This day is on track to be the largest No Kings national day of action yet, and it couldn't come at a more important moment. The Trump administration is crumbling—and it's because of people like you who are showing up.
Find an event near you and RSVP to join another historic No Kings national day of action.

There's an unending amount of things going on to be enraged about. Cutting health care in order to spend billions to tear families apart. Withholding the Epstein files from the public and standing in the way of justice for survivors. Republicans in Congress' attempts to make it harder to vote, threatening the disenfranchisement of millions of people. An illegal and costly war with Iran that a majority of Americans oppose and Congress hasn't authorized.
Whatever motivates you, know your presence and solidarity at No Kings matter.
No Kings is so important because it shows those in power where the people stand in a way that they cannot ignore.
On Saturday, they won't be able to ignore us. We will show that we are the majority.
No crowns. No thrones. No Kings.
Hope to see you out there.
Thanks for all you do.

P.S. A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.

Want to support MoveOn's work? Donald Trump's authoritarian takeover intensifies every day—but history shows that authoritarian regimes crumble when just 3.5% of people rise up together in sustained resistance. That's why MoveOn is helping mobilize millions, from massive No Kings protests to our nonstop work to get ICE out of our neighborhoods. This moment demands mass, disciplined, people-powered resistance, and MoveOn can reach, train, and organize at a scale unmatched in the progressive movement. Will you chip in to fuel this urgent and critical organizing?
