For what? The people in charge of sending our troops into harms way can't even identify the goal. Donald Trump even claimed that the war was already won.
But there is still time to stop this from happening, Pamela. Tell your representatives NO BOOTS ON THE GROUND in Iran!
This is reminiscent of the wars in Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan; wars where thousands of American lives were lost and kept the U.S. in deeply unpopular, long, and expensive conflicts.
Nearly 80% of Americans oppose boots o n the ground in Iran. But Trump doesn't care about the opinion of the American public; all he cares about is what he can gain from any situation.
We're already facing another endless Middle East war, and the Trump administration has given us no reason to trust that they know when to stop. Thousands of people have died, including nearly 200 children and 13 Americans. And if Trump gets his way, this is just the beginning of the escalation.
Congress must step in now to stop us from losing thousands of more lives, including Americans. They can support an Emergency War Powers Resolution today to stop American troops from being sent to Iran.
Tell your representatives today to demand no American troops in Iran.
