Hey Pamela, are you joining us today at 1PM for our January Democracy Seminar on the 2026 Florida Legislative Session and our priorities? See our email below to learn more. And can RSVP to join us here >>>
Pamela,
The 2026 Florida Legislative Session started this week, and what happens in Tallahassee over the next few months will impact our democracy, our communities, and our future.
Lawmakers will be making decisions that could either protect or further undermine voting access, fair representation, and the ability of everyday Floridians to have a voice in our government. At Common Cause Florida, we are committed to doing everything we can to defend our democracy, push back against anti-voter attacks, and advance social justice across the state.
Things are already moving fast, and staying informed and engaged during this session is critical.
That's why on Wednesday, January 21 from 1:00-2:00 PM ET, we're hosting our January Democracy Seminar, focused on the 2026 Florida Legislative Session and Common Cause Florida's legislative priorities for the year ahead.
We'll discuss:
What's happening during the 2026 Florida Legislative Session
How decisions made this year could impact Florida's democracy for years to come
Our key legislative priorities and how we're fighting for a fair and inclusive democracy
How you can stay updated and take action throughout the session
This is an opportunity to learn, ask questions, and connect with others who are passionate about building more representative and inclusive democratic systems.
Register and join us in the conversation. Together, we'll make sure every Floridian's voice is heard and our democracy stays strong.
We hope to see you there!
Franceska Edouard, Florida Organizer
and the team at Common Cause Florida
