π³️ Election Day Is Less Than 250 Hours Away. Are You Ready to Vote?
The countdown is on! Election Day is November 3, which means we’re less than two weeks away from one of the most important days of the year. Whether you’re voting early, by mail, or in person on Election Day, now is the time to finalize your plan.
Start by checking your voter registration and reviewing your state’s voting options and deadlines. Common Cause has free, nonpartisan tools to help you prepare, including resources to register to vote, find your polling place, track your ballot, and more.
Meanwhile, our Election Protection teams are working across the country to help voters navigate the process and make their voices heard. If you have questions or run into trouble voting, you can always call or text 866-OUR-VOTE for friendly, nonpartisan assistance.
π« Court Blocks Trump’s Taxpayer-Funded Political Ads
In a major development in our fight to stop the Trump administration from using taxpayer dollars for political propaganda, a federal judge issued a temporary restraining order blocking the administration from using public funds to create and air partisan political ads for 14 days.
The ruling follows a lawsuit filed by Common Cause and our partners challenging the administration’s use of taxpayer money to influence the midterm elections. As the case moves forward, we’ll continue fighting to ensure Americans’ hard earned tax dollars serve the people, not the president’s political agenda.
