As you might know, our campaign is hosting events across Ohio for the final days of this race. I’m getting to do this alongside one of the toughest, grittiest, most inspiring leaders in our state: Dr. Amy Acton.

So of course I love any reason to travel across this great state of ours and meet people who take time out of their busy lives to say hello. On Monday, we were joined by John Legend in Dayton. 
What a cool night that was. Thank you to the hundreds of you who showed up, and a huge shoutout to those of you who couldn’t get in but waited outside in the parking lot to show your support. Look, I talk a lot about how folks are frustrated and fed up. They’re sick of high prices, broken promises, below-the-belt attacks, and nobody in Washington doing anything to improve their lives. They’re right to feel that way. And this campaign is focused on fixing those problems. But I don’t want all of that to drown out what my campaign is all about: Things can get better. And we are the ones who can make it happen. I’m not running against Jon Husted … I’m running for Ohioans. I’m running to put more money in your pocket. To protect workers and families. To take our troops out of harm’s way. To root out the corruption in Washington and start building back some of that broken trust. To show everyone that Ohioans look out for each other. And to give all Ohioans something better. If you’re reading this and you’re with me, I hope you’ll consider making a contribution to my campaign. The dollars we raise here go straight to work making events like this happen, and we need anything you can spare as we take on hundreds of millions in Republican dark money.
